Habitat for Humanity Tanzania (HFHT) is a Christian Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) with
registration no. t00NGO/R1/00314 operating legally under NGO Act (2002) dedicated to ensuring
that low-income families have access to decent and affordable homes. With a focus on Habitability,
Affordability, Basic Services, and Protection of land tenure, HFHT has been working in
Tanzania since 1986 to improve housing conditions for low-income families. HFHT adopts a
partnership model to extend its reach, impact, and ensure sustainability, with its footsteps in 13
regions in both Tanzania mainland and Zanzibar.

Government Authorities, as well as local and international housing sector partners, to achieve its
mission and strategic plan 2025-2029 FY 2025-2029)

Habitat for Humanity Tanzania (HFHT) has set aside funds in this FY 2026 through WASH
Improvement at Market places- Bahi project which is funded by Guernsey Overseas Aid
Commission (GOAC).
Habitat for Humanity Tanzania now invites bids from eligible and reputable contractors for
the construction of two pay-per-use gender-inclusive public toilet facilities at Kigwe
Mnadani and Bahi Mnadani in Bahi District, Dodoma Region.

Qualification Requirements

This tender is open to all eligible bidders registered with the Contractors Registration
Board (CRB) especially in class VI and above.

Interested and Qualified bidders must submit a comprehensive technical & financial proposal
including the following stamped documents:

1. A summary of the company profile.
2. Evidence of relevant experience in executing at least 5 similar construction works in the
   last 3-5 years.
3. Past Contracts: At least three (3) copies of signed contracts and certificates of completion
   for similar work completed in the last three years.
4. Proof of financial capacity, demonstrated by a recent bank statement (last 12 months) and
   or a bank letter of credit.
5. A detailed technical capacity statement, including a list of key personnel (e.g., project
   manager, engineer, site foreman etc) and their qualifications, as well as a list of owned or
   leased equipment relevant to the project.
6. Registration Documents: certified copies of relevant registration documents.
7.  Business License: A valid business license.
8. Bank slip for non-refundable Bid Application fee of Tsh. 100,000/= deposited through the following bank details:
