PROGRAM OFFICER- CLIMATE SMART LIVELIHOOD

We are seeking a Program Officer – Smart Climate Livelihood.  This is a technical role responsible for leading the planning, design, integration, execution and monitoring of climate-resilient economic empowerment activities across HFHT’s portfolio that serve as a catalyst for housing stability. The primary objective of this role is to ensure that project participants (smallholder farmers, market traders, and homeowners) achieve economic stability through climate-smart commercial agriculture, emerging climate-resilient technologies (e.g solar-powered irrigation), and market linkages.

Recruitment of Wash & Construction Specialist

We are seeking a WASH & Construction Specialist to provide critical technical leadership, support, quality assurance, and construction management expertise to ensure that all HFH Tanzania housing, WASH, and infrastructure projects are designed, built, implemented, supervised, monitored and maintained in line with Habitat for Humanity’s global WASH and construction quality & safety standards and Habitability guidelines, the Tanzania Building Standards and WHO Sanitation Guidelines. The Specialist also drives continuous innovation in materials, low-carbon building techniques, and water management systems, orienting project implementation with emerging climate-resilient technologies.

Invitation to tender: Construction of 2 pay-per-use gender inclusive toilet facilities

Habitat for Humanity Tanzania (HFHT) invites bids from eligible and reputable contractors for the construction of two pay-per-use gender-inclusive public toilet facilities at Kigwe Mnadani and Bahi Mnadani in Bahi District, Dodoma Region.

This tender is open to all eligible bidders registered with the Contractors Registration Board (CRB) in Class VI and above. A complete set of the tender documents including technical specifications and drawings can be accessed and downloaded below.

External Auditor

We are seeking proposals from qualified external audit firms to conduct an audit of its financial statements for the fiscal year 2024/2025. The selected firm will be responsible for assessing HFHT’s financial records in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA), evaluating internal controls, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, and providing recommendations for financial and operational improvements.

The audit will result in an audit opinion on financial statements and a management letter highlighting any identified weaknesses and suggested enhancements.

Financial Consultant

We are seeking a qualified Financial Consultant to support Habitat for Humanity Tanzania in strengthening financial reporting, compliance, and donor fund management. The consultant will prepare financial statements, support Board reporting, ensure regulatory compliance, and help develop internal controls. They’ll also contribute to budgeting and act as a key advisor on financial governance.

This is a one-year consultancy, with 44 working days and at least three office visits per month. Candidates must be CPA or ACCA certified with at least 8 years’ experience.
